Bright Edem Ababio

Managing Director

Edem has been part of the construction industry for over 13 years. He graduated with Bsc. in Civil Engineering and a focus on Structures and Construction Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Early in his career, Edem worked in a number of different roles within the construction industry and quickly gained a broad knowledge in the range of positions he held.
He spent 5 years working with Manet Group, Clifton Homes (Versailies Decor), Nesstra Construction Ghana Limited. He also Directed and Managed C.T Quaye Construction Ltd, and he is currently steering the affairs of Modern Planners in dealing with Contracts and Projects. His construction experience includes Property development, town houses, commercial projects such as airport terminals, prefabricated housing units, schools, hospitals, heal-dtates, residential, hotels, restaurants, high-rise apartments, warehouses, swimming pools, etc.

Isaac W. Ghanem

Director, Project Development & Strategic Partnerships

Mr. Isaac Ghanem is the Director of Projects at Modern Planners and Construction with over 13 years of experience in construction, project management and business development across Ghana and international markets. He holds an MBA from IE Business school and a Civil Engineering degree from KNUST. He has led complex projects across sectors such as hospitality, residential, and infrastructure, including the Four Points by Sheraton in Accra and previously worked with several major firms. His expertise spans project execution, risk management, procurement, and strategic partnerships. In his current role, he oversees project delivery, drives growth, and aims to deliver innovative, high-impact projects across Ghana and West Africa.

Simon Boatey Djakwah

Commercial Director

Simon has been involved in the construction industry for over 10 years. He has extensive experience in Quantity Surveying and holds a Bachelor of Building Technology . He is a member Ghana Institute of Surveyors (GhIS). Prior to his involvement with MPC, Simon worked with numerous construction companies in Ghana such as Mitcheletti & Co, Berock Ventures, Myturn, Mask Green etc. He is the Senior Quantity Surveyor with Modern Planners and his involvement with the company has led to great achievements. Simon is involved in pricing all manner of residential, commercial and industrial projects. His systematic approach and attention to detail make him a valued member of our team.

Numan Busaga

Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Numan has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. He started his first construction project with Cooperative Housing Construction (350 apartments) for Black Sea Copper workers in 1989 with Koseoglu Construction Company Ankara Turkey. He spent 22 years working with MNG Holdings where he was at the fore front of constructing major facilities including Totas 5 Stars Hotel in Antalya, 42 floors Turkey Central Bank, 7500 prefabricated housing units for the Ministry of Tourism, Bolu, Turkey.
He also played a key role at MAPA Construction where he spearheaded the successful Construction of Kotoka International Airport, Terminal 3, Accra. He has been a Director since and is in charge of strategic decision making and business.

Daniel Dotse

Director of Finance (CFO)

Mr. Daniel Dotse is a highly skilled and season accounting professional with over 15 years of proven track record of streaming financial operations and procurement processes to optimize efficiency. Expertise in financial analysis, Strategic Business planning, reporting, Strategic Tax Planning, risk and stakeholder management.
A Chartered Accountant with Bachelor in Business Administration (Accounting) and a student member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana. Daniel experience had cut across retailing, telecommunication, Manufacturing, construction, shipping and Logistics industries.

Mary Amponsah

Head, HR & Administration

Mary Amponsah is a seasoned and results-driven Human Resources professional and full member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management (MCIHRM) with over a decade of progressive experience in benefits administration, HR policy development, and talent management. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana, Legon. She is dedicated to fostering compliant, inclusive, and high-performing workplace environments that align organizational goals with employee well-being.
With extensive experience working with multinational companies from Portugal, Brazil, and several Asian countries operating in Ghana, she brings to MPC a strong global perspective and cultural intelligence to HR leadership. Mary has been recognized for expertise in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and regulatory compliance, with a proven ability to translate business strategies into effective people solutions. She has proven success in developing HR policies, designing impactful training programmes, and ensuring legal and ethical compliance to drive sustainable business growth.
Mary has a demonstrated history of leading HR operations for large-scale projects and managing workforces exceeding 1,800 employees, combining strategic insight with hands-on execution to enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture. She is guided by principles of fairness, respect, and accountability to build workplaces where people and performance thrive in equal measure.

Deladem Djirackor

HSE & Compliance Manager

Deladem Djirackor is a dedicated HSE professional with experience across the construction, manufacturing, and mining sectors. She holds an MSc in Environmental Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a BSc in Environmental and Safety Engineering from the University of Mines and Technology, with hands-on expertise in incident investigation, safety audits, environmental monitoring, reporting, and training gained from organizations such as Interplast Limited, Asanko Gold Ghana Ltd, and the Ghana Atomic Energy Commission.
She is professionally certified in NEBOSH and ISO standards (ISO 45001 Lead Auditor and Implementer, and ISO 9001 Lead Implementer) and is known for her strong leadership, analytical abilities, and commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and fostering a proactive safety culture.
